Challenge:

  • As an SEO agency with a world-class web department, we recognize that designing a beautiful website is not enough—it also needs to function as a marketing tool to drive leads or sales.
  • This niche dating app was brand new on the market and its companion website had only a “coming soon” page before the launch of the new website developed by seoplus+.

Approach:

  • We developed the website with SEO in mind, ensuring key components like titles/metas and headings were optimized around priority keywords and topics.
  • We completed a 50-point SEO checklist to ensure the launch aligned with SEO principles.
  • After launch, we continued SEO optimizations and wrote content in support of these central topics.

Results:

  • The new website launched in October 2021, replacing a “coming soon” page that had just 359 sessions and 0 leads.
  • By December 2021, the website received a peak of 3,548 visitors, while leads peaked in January 2022 with 1,032 unique activities.
  • Additionally, the website drove 296 membership purchases within the first six months of launch.
  • In terms of visibility, the website went from 0 impressions registered in Google Search Console to 15,749 total impressions within 6 months of launch.
